  • Do I have to attend Movement City to receive counseling?
No, you do not have to be a member of our church. We welcome anyone seeking help, regardless of church background or beliefs.
  • Are your counselors licensed?
Please note that all sessions at Movement City are pastoral counseling sessions unless otherwise specifically stated.
  • Where is the counseling office?
Enter through Movement City's side doors marked "Church Office." Ring the doorbell to let your counselor know that you have arrived.
  • Who is counseling for?
Counseling is for anyone seeking emotional, spiritual, or relational support—whether you're facing a crisis or simply want to grow. Individuals, couples, families, and teens are all welcome. Check out our types of counseling sessions, but remember that these descriptions are not all inclusive. Counseling is fantastic to gain tools to better navigate life.
  • Can I reschedule or cancel my session?
We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule your counseling session, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Our office is closed on Fridays and Saturdays, so changes must be made by Thursday at 3:00 PM for any Monday appointments. Late cancellations or missed sessions will result in the forfeiture of your appointment fee. This policy helps us honor your time, your counselor’s time, and the sacred work God is doing in your journey.
  • What can I expect during my first session?
You’ll meet with a trained counselor in a safe, relaxed environment to talk about what’s on your heart, set goals, and begin the journey toward healing and growth. We do not provide childcare during sessions.
  • Will my sessions be confidential?
Yes. We take your privacy seriously. All sessions are confidential, with exceptions only when safety is a concern.
  • Is there a cost for counseling?
Each session fee is listed with session type unless otherwise listed at time of booking.
